Apartment Anthea two bedrooms house is located at a mere 10 minute walk to the centre of Amalfi in an idyllic and green area of the town, not far from its attractions, at easy walk to the beaches. The house is part of the historic complex Villa Della Felicità.
Apartment Anthea has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths Sleeps 4 + 1 in divan bed. This is an unattached, two story structure, set in a sublime location. Anthea location allows guests to experience a perfect panorama. A stone staircase of approximately 100 steps leads from the main garden level up through the alluring terraces to the front door of this charming, unusual farmhouse. The fatigue which could accompany this short hike is more than offset by the breathtaking vistas, the serene tranquility and the sheer pleasure of being surrounded by the sweet, fragrant citrus groves.
The ground floor is comprised of a spacious family room - living room, a dining area and a kitchen. On the upper level there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. There are two bathrooms, one with shower, one with tub.
Some time in the past, perhaps as long ago as one hundred years, an unknown resident of the Farmhouse satisfied his thirst for Music by painting the vaulted ceilings with whimsical depictions of violins and guitars. With a treasure like this as it's defining feature, great care was exercised in the course of the restoration to preserve this precious feature. Anthea is a perfect fit for a group of young friends, two couples or a family of four. Please note that the house, being an old recently restored farmhouse, preserving its charm and vaulted high ceiling roofs, is NOT air conditioned.
The building is set amid verdant terraced flower gardens. This exceptional property claims a prized spot, nestled between the sea and the beautiful rugged mountains which are the backdrop of the Amalfi Drive in the stately town of Amalfi. You will discover easy access to the many desirable beaches on this iconic breadth of seacoast. It's a walk of just 15 minutes to the center of this vibrant town where you will discover great restaurants serving fresh, local traditional cuisine, bars offering icy, delightful aperitifs or freshly made fruit infused gelato. There is great shopping and a transportation hub connecting to all destinations on the coast.

The Villa and its lush landscape have been assigned the prestigious honor of National Monument.
Construction was executed with mindful consideration of the serene atmosphere so desirous on the Amalfi Coast. An effort to reproduce the character of an era of aristocracy a century past has succeeded. Hand chosen pieces, paintings and decorative arts and accoutrement are true to the period. The bright, white walls lend a perfect canvas to the lavish splash's of natural colors abundant here. Red and pink bougainvillea, graceful lavender wisteria and the ever present azure sea create a timeless vista, steeped in tradition and contemporary all at once.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with wide windows and balconies. Guests will enjoy the sea view and the extensive panoramas from any corner of the property.
The property is accessible by elevator from the main road plus a walk of 100 traditional stone ramp of steps, that could be not easy for people with walking difficulties; Town public parking is at circa 800 meters from the property; you can also enquiry for a valet parking, with "on request" delivery and drop off directly at the property.
