Appartamento Attilia A features a terrace with a splendid view of the sea, the beach and Amalfi. The apartment is 70 square meters (about 753.5 square feet) large, and it sleeps four people. It’s located in the center of Amalfi.

It is 20 meters (about 66 feet) away from the sea and the beach, and 100 meters (about 328 feet) away from the Duomo (Cathedral) of Amalfi. It’s equipped with air-conditioning and winter heating.

There is a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a living-room with a double divan bed and a kitchen.

The place

You will be on the second floor of an original medieval house which was built attached to the rocky coast. Its façade looks onto the sun and the sea. You will have a fantastic view of the beach and the bay of Amalfi.

You will also be only a few steps away from the famous Piazza del Duomo di Amalfi (Square of the Cathedral of Amalfi), which is the rendezvous of the town. At the foot of the famous stairway to the Duomo you will find elegant shops, bars, and restaurants with tables outdoors.

You will be in the oldest and most central area of Amalfi, right in the heart of all the tourist activities: the promenade along the sea, the beach, the tourist port, and the bus station are all a few feet away, and you won’t even have to take any stairway to reach any of the places. The only steps to climb are those of the old staircase which allows you to reach the entrance door to the apartment: exactly seventy steps.

During your stay at Appartamento Attilia A, you will be able to conveniently reach on foot the most central streets of Amalfi, mainly dedicated to shopping and as strolling areas. You will also have right at hand a vast selection of great bars and restaurants with tables outdoors overlooking the sea.

You don’t need a car during your stay at Appartamento Attilia A. But in case you have one, you can park in a pay parking lot not far from the house.

The terrace

During your stay at Appartamento Attilia A, you will have a long terrace facing the sun and the sea at your disposal. You will have the privilege of laying your eyes on one of the most beautiful views of the coast.

Your eyes will embrace a 180° view which goes from the red roofs found in the historical center, dominated by the fantastic bell-tower of the Duomo, to the beach, which is right below the house, not mentioning the entire bay and the vast blue of the sea.

The terrace is large enough to have small wicker armchairs arranged on it and to enjoy the scenery while sipping a cup of coffee of a glass of Limoncello…

The house

The apartment is airy and bright. It’s furnished with care in white and blue colors. The floor is in glossy terracotta from local handicraft. As a whole you will find it aired, well-kept, and cozy.

You will enter a small hall where the doors of the kitchen, the living-room, and the bathroom are. The living-room is furnished with a table and chairs, a double divan bed, and a television. The living-room has a patio door which leads to the terrace overlooking the sea. You will feast your eyes on the sea, blue and nearby, and also on the splendid panorama of Amalfi even from inside the house, both from the living-room and the bedroom.

You reach the spacious double bedroom from the living-room. The bedroom also overlooks the terrace.

The kitchen is beautiful and comfortable. It’s equipped with a four-burner stove, an oven, a fridge, and a washing machine.

The bathroom features a spacious and comfortable shower.

Nearby tourist attractions

From Appartamento Attilia A you will be able to walk in two minutes to the square of the Cathedral of Amalfi, which is the "sitting room" of the village. Here there are elegant shops and excellent cafes, pastry shops and restaurants that setup their tables outdoor. You will find it very pleasant to stop here to enjoy a cappuccino, an Italian ice cream or a "delizia al limone" (a "lemon delight", the traditional cake of the Amalfi Coast), in front of the splendid and imposing façade of the Cathedral.

If you walk for 50 more meters (about 164 feet) you will find the large Flavio Gioia square, with its promenade along the sea, the access to the beaches, and the bus station for the buses that connect all the villages along the coast, including Ravello and Positano, as well as Pompeii and Paestum.

Here there is also the quay, where you will be able to board ferries or rent boats to visit the coast from the sea and reach Positano, Capri, Sorrento, Ischia, Naples, Salerno, Agropoli and the coast of Cilento National Park.

The nearest airport is the one in Naples.

Appartamento Attilia A is located in the same building and on the same floor as Appartamento Attilia B.
