Casa del Sole, a really wonderful apartment on the Amalfi Coast, is situated in the upper part of the town of Praiano, near the church of San Gennaro. It is easily reached from the piazza by a ramp of about 15 stairs.
From the sunny 50 sq. metre terrace you can see the ancient Saracen Tower and the Amalfi Coast spread out beneath you feet. Casa del Sole is a really a magic place to have breathtaking sunsets or to relax yourself with your favourite book or cocktail.
Casa del Sole's furnishings are modern and comfortable and the apartment offers all modern conveniences.
Casa del Sole consists of a full-equipped kitchen, a double bedroom, a living area with a double bed-sofa, color T.V., one bathroom with showers and terrace with sight sea and of the Amalfi Coast.
The rocky beach at the Praia is approximately 2 km away. There you can find not only typical restaurants and bars but about rental service, and scuba-diving school.
The beach can be reached by convenient public transit which offers excellent service connecting to all main transit attractions along the coast.
A grocery store, butcher shop and emporium can be found a short walk from the property.
ATM, pharmacy, first-aid station and all essential services are short walk away as are restaurants, bars and typical shops of the area
The shuttle bus that connects Praiano to Positano and the bus for Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and Salerno as well as to boats boarding for Capri and Ischia stop next to entrance to the house.
Trekkers can enjoy several excellent trails in the area. The famous Sentiero degli Dei(Path of the Gods) of the Amalfi Coast can be easily reached from the apartment.
