This is a charming villa of 70 square meters plus 35 meters of terrace, that sleeps 5 persons. Villa del Sole is located in Pastena of Amalfi at about 100 steps from the road where you will find a bus stop and parking. This villa has one of the most panoramic views of the Amalfi Coastline starting from Penisola Cilentana and spanning across Maiori, Amalfi and Ravello. The village where Villa del Sole is located around the Church of Saint Assunta that dates back to the 1400's. You can admire its cross-domed roof and bell tower with its traditional green tiled roof and beautiful terrace. Pastena is an agricultural village where lemons are grown so there is an amazing scent that fills the air. The villa is one of the most peaceful places in the area. Tucked away from the noise of traffic but only 20 minutes walk, through a stair of steps, from the splendid beaches and the town center of Amalfi, this place is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The village is a favorite among the people who stay and live here because of its tranquility and the fact that it is an easy place to discover and explore from, at your leisure. Villa del Sole was first built at the turn of last century, redolent of the style of the traditional houses of the area with domed ceilings and arched porches. The villa is on one floor and is composed of a large terrace furnished of a table with 3 sunbeds and 4 stairs, a sun umbrella, a barbecue; there is a direct access to the bedroom and the living-room. The living-room can accommodate 2 person in a double bed; the bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. There are three bathrooms with shower. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, refrigerator, utensils based on a standard Italian kitchen and table with chairs. The villa has circle air for air conditioning. The villa can be reached by SITA bus from Amalfi that runs every 45 minutes, until midnight. The journey takes 10 minutes. Alternatively, there are public parking spaces available on the road.

Arriving in Amalfi

In order to get from Naples airport to Pogerola of Amalfi, follow these instructions: Take Autostrada (highway) A3 as if you were going to Salerno/Vietri. Exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the long straight road, then after that go through a tunnel. At the exit of this first tunnel, go right to Gragnano-Agerola and follow the signs to Amalfi. After this turn, you will get to the beginning of the town of Gragnano: do not enter it, go right towards Agerola. You will go through the towns of Pimonte, then Agerola, then Furore, Conca dei Marini, where there is a famous cloister. Here, pay attention to these instructions: after this cloister in Conca you will go through a tunnel, then after about 1 km, after some bends you will arrive at an intersection to Pogerola/Amalfi about 1 km before the main coast road. Stop at this intersection, do not go on to the main road. Here you will meet the representative who will shows you the apartment.
